Can
I buy a copy of the CRP? |

Individual licensing of
Profiler is no longer available. However, corporate site licensing
for use of the Profiler is available on a limited basis for sponsors

How
does it work? |
| |
The Crop
Revenue Profiler® program is
designed to allow the concurrent analysis and comparison
of various cash grain marketing alternatives and various
crop insurance alternatives to help you make price,
production risks and management decisions.
This software program
requires input information about your operation, and then uses this
information to create an analysis of your grain production operation.
You can work with an Profiler enabled crop insurance agent or a Profiler
enabled grain marketing advisor as needed to find the insurance products
and marketing alternatives that best fit the individual needs of your
operation. As an alternative, you can provide an Anderson Agri Partners
Marketing and Risk Management Specialist information by mail, email,

Analyses can be
created with minimal key pieces of information, but we are best able
to fine tune each analysis by inputting additional information based
on your desire for a more complete analysis.
Profiler input information is loaded into the software model and an
analysis is created. The input into the model is relatively easy to
complete
and you will find the input fields also have online help to assist
users in understanding each entry. Professional training is also available
to assist participants in understanding and interpreting results. |

Is
the Crop Revenue Profiler® software
program an accounting tool? |
| |
The Crop
Revenue Profiler® software
program should not be viewed as an accounting tool, but rather
as an analytical tool to help a producer make strategic decisions.
The usefulness of the program's output will be impacted by
the accuracy and timeliness of information concerning the
producer's operation and crop insurance availability and
pricing. Some of the user inputs into the software are estimates
made, in many cases, before the crop is ever planted or produced.
An analysis does allow a producer to make a best guess approach
to these inputs, and use them to make more educated risk management
decisions. |
